What does our reviewer say …

So far, I’ve been really impressed with the Woof Wear Polar Ice Boots, they’re easy to use and have quickly become a staple piece of kit on our lorry, (we use them for cooling legs after eventing).

With the addition of some extra gel packs we can easily use them on three or four different horses throughout the day. When packed into a cold cool box with a few extra ice packs, even with a 3am start they remained frozen until our last horse went cross-country at 4 pm!

The gel packs are easy to slip in and out of the pockets inside the boots and do remain flexible – even when frozen, so they mould to the shape of the leg. With the Velcro fastenings it’s easy to achieve a nice snug fit, so that the gel packs remain in place against the tendons and don’t sag down. I’ve not yet needed to use them as a hot boot but certainly as a cold boot It does exactly what it says on the tin.

The £64.99 price is quite reasonable for a pair of boots and four gel packs – as are the extra gel packs, which are £9.99 per pair – just remember that you need two in each boot so you need two pairs per set of boots, if you want to use them consecutively on more than one horse!
